Late February Cold “Snap”

| February 20, 2009 @ 11:16 am | 6 Replies

This is not one of those super-duper three-foot-long lists of cold temperatures in Alabama this morning. We try to save those for cold waves. (There is that term again) Anyway, here is a “modest” list of lows.

I awoke at 6 this morning. At 6:02 my little dog was ringing her little bell urgently–meaning she was ready for morning walk. We took a quick half mile walk and it felt so good. Now, be truthful, don’t you like a morning like this much better than a July morning when you step outside and your eye glasses steam up, your clothes stick to you and you almost smother?
