A Really Nice Midday For Your Wednesday

| April 11, 2018 @ 1:22 pm

As we have crossed over into the early afternoon in Central Alabama, we have mostly sunny skies with a few high wispy clouds in the northern half of the area. I do not believe you could complain about the temperatures as we are running in the mid-60s to the lower 70s as of 1:10 PM. Warm spot at this point is Eufaula at 73 degrees, while the cool spot is Haleyville at 64 degrees. Birmingham was at 70 degrees.

Skies will continue to be sunny for most with a few thin wispy clouds in the northern parts of the area throughout the remainder of the daylight hours. Highs will top out in the lower to mid-70s from north to south. For this evening and into the overnight hours, we’ll have clear skies and cool temperatures. Overnight lows will bottom out in the lower 40s to near 50 degrees from north to south.

Thursday’s weather will be brilliant and even warmer. We’ll have sunny skies throughout the entire day in Central Alabama, as ridging continues to build over the southeastern Untied States. Afternoon highs will top out in the mid-70s to the lower 80s. Skies will continue to be mainly clear on Thursday evening and throughout the overnight hours. Lows will only fall into the lower to mid-50s.
