Other Than Being Just A Tad Cool, You Can’t Complain About The Weather At Midday

| April 27, 2018 @ 11:32 am

Ok, maybe you can complain a little about the weather at midday… I know I can, because I am not at the beach with my toes in the sand, or I’m not at Talladega watching cars zip by at nearly 200 MPH. As we approach 11:30 AM, skies are mainly clear and temperatures are ranging from the mid-60s in the north to the upper 60s and touching 70 degrees in the south. Montgomery is the warm spot at 70 degrees, while a few places are tied as the cool spots at 64 degrees… Birmingham was at 66 degrees.

We’ll continue to have great weather throughout the remainder of today and throughout the entire weekend… which will make those Talladega race fans very happy. Plenty of sunshine can be expected from now until sunset on Sunday evening and temperatures will be comfortable for afternoon highs. If you are going to the races at the “World’s Fastest Speedway,” or have any other outdoor activities, you will definitely need your shades, hats, and sunscreen. Highs will top out in the lower to mid-70s today, with lows dropping into the upper 40s to the lower 50s. It will be a little warmer on Saturday, with highs topping out in the mid to upper 70s throughout the area, then taking a small step backward on Sunday reaching the lower to mid-70s. Once again, a great weekend ahead with no rain… that’s right… no rain throughout the weekend. It’s been a while since we had a dry one.
