Significant Weather Advisory For Northeastern Marengo And Southwestern Hale Counties Until 6:30 PM CDT

     …SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN MARENGO AND

     SOUTHWESTERN HALE COUNTIES UNTIL 630 PM CDT…

     At 558 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near

     Newbern, or 10 miles south of Greensboro, moving south at 10 mph.

     Another strong thunderstorm was located along the Hale and Marengo

     County line and was also moving south at 10 mph.

     Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with

     these storms.

     Locations impacted include…

     Demopolis, Newbern, Faunsdale, Arcola, Old Spring Hill, Gallion,

     Cedarville and Laneville.
