Large Wedge Tornado

| May 4, 2007 @ 9:34 pm | 6 Replies

Storm chasers are reporting a large, mile wide wedge tornado on the ground just south southwest of Greensburg, KS tonight.

Hopefully it will miss the town, but it will be a close call.

It is one of the most impressive storms I have seen on velocity display in a while.

Just as impressive on reflectivity display.

Tornado!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the people in the path of this storm tonight.
