A large wedge tornado tonight is passing very near Greensburg, KS.

The NWS Dodge City issued a tornado emergency for the town.

Here is an impressive velocity display from just a moment ago.

Tornado!

The storm has had up to nearly 200 knots of gate to gate shear, some of the strongest I have ever seen with a tight circulation.

The top of the storm was 74,000 feet!

Now, an additional tornado is developing on the back side of the supercell and will pass through the city of Greensburg also.
