…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN MADISON COUNTY UNTIL
700 PM CDT…
At 611 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Morgan City, or 8 miles southeast of Redstone Arsenal, moving north
at 10 mph. An additional strong thunderstorm was also located new
Owens Crossroads, moving north around 10 mph.
Pea size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.
Locations impacted include…
Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Meridianville, Moores Mill,
Owens Cross Roads, Alabama A And M University, Marshall Space Flight
Center, University Of Alabama In Huntsville and Huntsville
International Airport.
