At 406 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking the remnants of Alberto
moving northward across northwestern Alabama. Strong wind gusts of
40 to 50 mph will be possible within several bands of heavy rainfall
impacting the region, and due to saturated ground conditions, winds
of this magnitude will be lead to some tree damage.
Locations impacted include…
Decatur, Florence, Athens, Hartselle, Muscle Shoals, Russellville,
Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Moulton and Red Bay.
