An all new edition of the ABC 33/40 Weather Xtreme video is available in the player below. You can subscribe to the Weather Xtreme video on iTunes by clicking here.

DRY THROUGH SUNDAY: Considering the lack of rain on radar, and the dry state of the atmosphere, I think we pretty much take out any significant chance of rain this evening. Cooler air will roll in behind the surface boundary that is passing through our state this evening, the high tomorrow will be in the mid to upper 60s, about 7 to 10 degrees cooler than today.

The weekend will feature comfortable afternoons with a high in the upper 60s Saturday, and close to 70 Sunday. We do note that Saturday morning will be rather chilly, with the low near 40 in most places. But, colder valleys should reach the 30s with some potential for scattered light frost.

NEXT WEEK: We are still looking at the next significant rain event for our state on Wednesday and Thursday; severe weather potential seems low at this point, but rain amounts of over one inch are likely. Beyond that, lots of model madness… the 12Z GFS takes the cold shot off the table, but I would not shocked if it shows up again in future runs. Big rain event and late season cold snaps are very common around here in late March and early April. Watch the Weather Xtreme video for more details on long range ideas.
