At 346 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Alton, or near Irondale, moving east at 10 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Northeastern Birmingham, Trussville, Irondale, Leeds, Barber
Motorsports Park, Shops of Grand River, Alton, Lake Purdy, Birmingham
Race Course, Ruffner Mountain and Grants Mill Road Bridge.
