At 242 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Maylene, or near Montevallo, moving west at 15 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Montevallo, American Village, Maylene,
Shelby County Airport, Joe Tucker Park, Ballantrae, Saddle Lake
Farms, Siluria, Alabaster Veterans Park, Saginaw and Dogwood.
