| June 22, 2018 @ 9:00 pm

The Cullman County EMA director has stated that three people that were inside a mobile home were injured when a possible tornado moved through the Vinemont community on CR-1091. One of the three injured is believed to be an infant.

There are more reports of damage, including a report from when the cell was over Winston County in the Sardis community. Tin rolled back on a couple outbuildings and carport lifted at two locations along CR-85 from a possible tornado.

Other than the storms rolling eastward through the northern parts if the state, the rest of Central Alabama is nearly rain free. Only a few showers are falling over the extreme southwestern parts of the area. At this point, these do not appear that they would be strengthening tonight.

The SPC has removed the Slight Risk for North and Central Alabama and replaced it with a marginal risk. Showers that are moving in from Mississippi have weakened greatly and should diminish within the next few hours. One the storms move out of the area in North Alabama, the severe weather threat will have come to an end.
