The warm front across Louisiana is lifting northward now toward southwestern Mississippi. Several very intense thunderstorms have formed along the boundary now and are pushing northward.

The storm that produced a tornado near Alexandria, LA is pushing toward the Natchez MS area.

Additional tornado watches will be required for much of Southwest and South Central Mississippi soon.

This activity is moving into the Moderate Risk area now and will continue to have the potential for producing long tracked tornadoes this evening across South and South Central Mississippi.

This activity eventually gets into West Alabama later this evening. We will be monitoring it.
