Tornado Watch For Northwest and North-Central Alabama Has Expired
After collaboration with NWS Nashville and the Storm Prediction Center, the Tornado Watch was allowed to expire at 10:00 PM as scheduled. Even though a Severe Thunderstorm Warning has just been issued for parts of Lauderdale County until 10:30 PM, they decided to expire the Tornado Watch due to the downward trend in the strength of the storms, and the highly-localized nature of the threat.
