…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHERN MARSHALL AND
SOUTHWESTERN DEKALB COUNTIES UNTIL 315 PM CDT…
At 224 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms stretching from Arab to Colinsville, moving east at 25
mph. Between two and 3 inches of rainfall has already occurred in
some of these areas and an additional inch or more is possible over
the next hour. This could lead to ponding on area roadways and
localized flash flooding.
Locations impacted include… Albertville, Boaz, Guntersville,
Arab, Crossville, Douglas, McVille, High Point, Horton and Skirum.
