…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EASTERN LEE AND NORTHEASTERN
RUSSELL COUNTIES UNTIL 300 PM CDT…
At 229 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Valley to near Bleecker to near Fort
Benning/lawson Army Air Fld to near Cusseta. Movement was south at 20
mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Phenix City, Smiths, Smiths Station, Beulah, Russell County Sports
Complex, Beans Mill, Ladonia, Bleecker, Griffen Mill, Goat Rock Lake,
Monterey Heights, Uchee Creek, Fort Mitchell, Ladonia Sports Complex,
Fort Mitchell Activity Center, Carter Acres, Phenix Drag Strip and
Parkmanville.
