SOUTHWESTERN SHELBY…NORTHEASTERN BIBB AND WEST CENTRAL COOSA
COUNTIES UNTIL 430 PM CDT…
At 352 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from American Village to near Lay Lake Dam. Movement
was southwest at 10 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph, frequent lightning, and torrential
rainfall will be possible with these storms.

Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Calera, Clanton, Montevallo, Jemison,
Thorsby, Wilton, Gap Of The Mountain, American Village, Maylene,
Ashby, Brierfield Ironworks Park, Lay Lake Dam, University Of
Montevallo, Shelby County Airport, Lay Lake, Mitchell Lake and
Minooka Park.
