At 434 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Trammel Crossroads, or 7 miles northwest of Lafayette, moving east at
20 mph.
Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Lafayette, La Fayette, Chambers County Lake, Fredonia, Veasey Creek
Park, Denson, Amity Park, Penton, Trammel Crossroads, Buffalo,
Huguley, Rocky Point and Stroud Creek.
