The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flood Advisory for…
    Northwestern Lee County in east central Alabama…
    Southern Randolph County in east central Alabama…
    Tallapoosa County in east central Alabama…
    Chambers County in east central Alabama…

* Until 145 PM CDT.

* At 1050 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. One to two inches of rain have already fallen and at least another one to two inches of rain will be possible in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Auburn, Opelika, Alexander City, Roanoke, Tallassee, Dadeville, Camp Hill, Notasulga, Stroud, Lafayette, La Fayette, Jacksons’ Gap, New Site, Wadley, Waverly, Martin Dam, Sturkie, Trammel Crossroads, Buffalo and Hillabee Creek.
