New DVD’s are Here!

Fresh in from the DVD production company, ABC 33/40’s newest DVD projects “Severe Weather ’09” and “ABC’s of Weather II” have arrived! We’ll be announcing in coming days where you can get your hands on “Severe Weather ’09.”

This one includes our weather special from last October “Southern Skies ’08” as well as highlights from Alabama severe weather events in 2008.

“ABC’s of Weather II” is a second edition of the educational DVD we produced last year for use in Alabama schools. AMSTI schools got the first edition, and we hope to have the State Department of Education distribute this newest batch like last year.

This new edition covers in-depth studies of how the atmosphere works, the Global Circulation Model, Lightning, Hurricanes, and James Spann dressed up as the “Mad Meteorologist.” We’re very excited about both of these projects!

There is also a web element to “ABC’s of Weather” at www.kidzoneweather.com.

And hey, while I’m here, if you’re not following me on twitter, I’m simpson3340, and I’m also on Facebook, so look me up!
