Fog In The Valleys Of Northeastern Alabama

…Fog in the Valleys of Northeastern Alabama…
Areas of fog have developed in the valley areas of northeastern
Alabama this morning, which includes areas along and near the
Tennessee River from around Guntersville to Scottsboro and
Bridgeport, and in the DeKalb County valley, which includes the city
of Fort Payne. Visibilities will be around one half mile or less in
some instances, and could fall to one quarter mile or less at times.
Motorists are urged to travel with caution in these areas this
morning. Roadways affected include Interstate 59 in DeKalb County,
and State Routes 117 and 79, and U.S. Highway 72 in Jackson County.
The fog is expected to dissipate by about 9 AM CDT.
