…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR JACKSON…NORTH CENTRAL MARSHALL
AND NORTHEASTERN DEKALB COUNTIES UNTIL 400 PM CDT…
At 226 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking heavy showers that may
intensify into thunderstorms along a line extending from Skyline to
near Owens Cross Roads. Movement was east at 25 mph.
Brief wind gusts in excess of 30 mph will be possible with these
storms. Intense downpours will lead to ponding of water and reduced
visibility.
Locations impacted include…
Scottsboro, Bridgeport, Henagar, Stevenson, Sylvania, Hollywood,
Skyline, Section, Woodville and Ider.
