At 421 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Plecher, or 11 miles southwest of Clanton, moving northeast at 30
mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Clanton, Billingsley, Plecher, Marbury, Mitchell Lake, Higgins Ferry
Park, Verbena, Pooles Crossroads, Mitchell Dam and Cooper.
