Fine Weekend Ahead
**NO afternoon Weather Xtreme video today… scroll down for the morning discussion and you can see the one put together early this morning**
No change in our thinking… great weekend weather with sunny mild days and clear cool nights. Both the NAM and the GFS are printing 47 for Birmingham early tomorrow morning; the look for highs in the upper 70s tomorrow and low 80s on Sunday. The humidity will remain low throughout the weekend…
NEXT WEEK: The 12Z GFS is coming in with a new twist; holding the surface front up to the northwest of Alabama late next week. It really holds off the rain until Saturday (May 26)… but this run so far is an outlier and we won’t change the seven day at this time.
Interesting to note the 12Z GFS also develops some kind of tropical system around May 31 over the far Southeast Gulf of Mexico; it then moves across South Florida and northeast into the Atlantic. Then, on June 3, it develops a whopper of an eastern U.S. upper trough which sweeps much cooler air down into Alabama. But, all of this is pure voodoo at this stage of the game. Just interesting to watch.

I am headed out to Ross Bridge for live weather at 5:00 and 6:00 from the Regions Charity Golf Classic… Brian Peters will have the Weather Xtreme videos here over the weekend, and my next video will be posted bright and early Monday morning, by 7:00!
