NORTHWESTERN TUSCALOOSA…SOUTHEASTERN MARION…WESTERN WINSTON AND
FAYETTE COUNTIES UNTIL 800 AM CDT…
At 728 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles north of Needmore to near Bluff to 8
miles south of Bankston to near Gordo. Movement was northeast at 50
mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Winfield, Fayette, Haleyville, Carbon Hill, Lynn, Berry, Double
Springs, Coker, Brilliant, Glen Allen, Kansas, Nauvoo, Eldridge,
Houston Recreational Area, Samantha, Ashbank, Poplar Springs, Lake
Lurleen State Park, Ashridge and Lake Buttahatchee.
