| November 1, 2018 @ 7:57 am

NWS Huntsville has cancelled the tornado watch that was in effect until 1:00 PM this afternoon for Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, and Lawrence counties.

The tornado watch continues in effect for these counties in Central Alabama until 1:00 PM this afternoon: Autauga, Bibb, Chilton, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Lowndes, Marengo, Marion, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Shelby, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston.

I wouldn’t be surprised in the extreme western counties in Central Alabama will be removed from the tornado watch shortly.
