The Threat Of Severe Weather Has Ended For All Of North/Central Alabama

The stronger line of storms has now completely pushed over into western Georgia meaning that the severe weather threat for today is over in North and Central Alabama. The last Significant Weather Advisory that was in effect for the eastern part of DeKalb County was allowed to expire at 12:45 PM. All that is left is some light shower activity mainly along and east of the I-59 and the I-65 corridors.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been cancelled for Barbour and Russell counties in the southeastern parts of Central Alabama. There are no active watches or warnings in effect for North and Central Alabama.
