Alabama Update at 2:45 pm
Weather is calm and collected across Alabama on this Saturday afternoon. The showers that moved into West Alabama this morning pretty much fizzled. (Is that a good word, sounds OK)
So at 2:45 pm, about the only precipitation in Alabama was a few patches of very light rain (probably just sprinkles)

70 and mostly sunny in Auburn

Strong thunderstorms now in progress from about Little Rock southward to near Shreveport, Houston and Galveston. Tornado Watch continues for SE Texas and West Louisiana. So far today, NWS, Houston has issued six Tornado Warnings and NWS/Dodge City 7 Tornado Warnings.
SUNDAY IN ALABAMA
The SPC has all of Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee under a slight risk for Sunday and Sunday night. Also included: Extreme SE Louisiana, West Georgia and the NW Florida Panhandle. We will know much more about that very early Sunday.
