…THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN LAUDERDALE COUNTY IS CANCELLED…

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CST for north central and northwestern Alabama. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for eastern Lauderdale county until 1215 AM CST.

* Tornado Warning for…
    Northeastern Lauderdale County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 1230 AM CST.

* At 1155 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Lexington, or 17 miles south of
    Lawrenceburg, moving east at 45 mph.
    HAZARD…Tornado.
    SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
    IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
    Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

    Lexington and Anderson.
