| November 9, 2018 @ 8:53 am

NWS Birmingham has extended the Dense Fog Advisory (counties depicted in gray on map) for Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Chambers, Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, Russell, and Tallapoosa counties until 10:00 am CST this morning.

Areas of fog, with visibility dropping to one-quarter mile, will persist through mid-morning. As such, the dense fog advisory has been extended.

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to a quarter mile or less. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
