Comma head signature continues to roar through Etowah County…moving into northern Calhoun County…

Extends from Attalla to Gadsden to Glencoe…indicates high winds and the possibility of a tornado near Gadsden…

Hokes Bluff needs to be especially alert…

Intense lightning was reported at Rainbow City as the storm passed.

Lots of damage from this storm in Blount County.

Will affect areas as far south as Ohatchee and Jacksonville.

To the south…dangerous storm near Maplesville…how many times have we said that tonight? In Southwest Chilton County…will cross I-65 just south of Clanton.

There is also a tornado warning for Lee and Russell Counties in East Alabama

Areas along and west of I-59 are out of the severe weather threat. A tornado watch continues ahead of the line over East Alabama.
