Significant Weather Advisory for Patchy, Locally Dense Freezing
Fog across portions of north central Alabama, northeast Alabama,
northwest Alabama and southern middle Tennessee…
Patchy, Locally Dense Freezing Fog will continue to impact portions
of north central Alabama, northeast Alabama, northwest Alabama and
southern middle Tennessee, where temperatures are in the 28 to 32
degree range. Although visibilities are primarily between 3 and 5
miles, some local observations suggest that visibility could fall to
near zero in a few locations. The Freezing Fog could result in a thin
coat of ice on elevated surfaces, and motorists are urged to drive
with extreme caution.
The Freezing Fog should begin to burn off between 9 and 10 AM CST.
