CONDITIONS ACROSS CENTRAL ALABAMA AT 10:00 AM CST: Other than a few high thin clouds moving across the southern half of the area, skies are bright an sunny in Central Alabama. Temperatures are still rather cool at this point with readings in the lower 40s to the lower 50s, with the warm spot being Montgomery at 52 degrees. The cool spot is Haleyville at 41 degrees, while Birmingham was sitting at 46 degrees.

WEATHER FOR THE REST OF YOUR WEDNESDAY: It will remain a rather nice and cool day across Central Alabama with mostly sunny skies and highs topping out in the 50s. We’ll have a few clouds move in during the evening and into the late night and overnight hours, but only enough to make the skies partly cloudy. Lows will be down in the 30s.

THANKSGIVING DAY: Thursday will be an absolutely nice day across Central Alabama with plenty of sunshine and just one or two clouds during the morning hours. SHOPPING WEATHER ON BLACK FRIDAY: From 12:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, weather conditions look to be decent for all of those shoppers looking for the blockbuster deals. Skies will be mainly clear, but clouds will start to move in at or just after sunrise. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s to the lower 40s at sunrise. The main shower activity starts to move into the state at or just after the noon hour. but we could see a few spotty or scattered light showers before that, especially in the western half of Central Alabama. By Friday evening, rain will be widespread across the area and will persist through the late night and into the pre-dawn hours on Saturday. It still looks like all of the rain will be out of the state by sunrise on Saturday with maybe a stray shower or two lingering around in the northeastern parts of the area. Afternoon highs will be in the 50s with overnight lows dropping into the mid-40s to the lower 50s.

THE TROPICS: No areas of interest across the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, or the Caribbean Sea, and no new tropical cyclone development is expected throughout the next 5 days. Only 9 more days of the Atlantic Hurricane Season left for 2018.
