Patchy Dense Fog This Morning Across Central and North Alabama

| December 2, 2018 @ 5:27 am

Visibilities, current weather and infrared satellite image.

Skies have cleared this morning along and north of I-59 and that has permitted some fog to form given the moist ground from the rains of the past 36 hours.

Visibility is down to 0.25 miles at Tuscaloosa, and 0.5 miles at Meridian and Fort Payne.

There has also been some clearing from Montgomery to Auburn and visibilities are running 3-5 miles in this area with patchy spots showing less.

Be alert for reduced visibility if you will be driving.

The fog should burn off by 9 a.m. and a pretty day is in store for much of Central and North Alabama.
