Icy Spots on Roadways This Morning; Some Schools Delaying Starts

Fog has formed this morning with temperatures below 32F across a large part of Central and North Alabama. The fog is freezing on some exposed surface including roadways.

Freezing fog advisories have been issued for much of North and Central Alabama.

Slick spots will be observed until temperatures go above freezing, around 9 a.m., so be careful.

Some school systems are delaying their starts, including Jefferson. See the school closing list here.
