Significant Weather Advisory For Patchy Dense Fog In North Alabama Until 5:00 AM

SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR PATCHY DENSE FOG FOR LAUDERDALE, COLBERT, FRANKLIN, LAWRENCE, LIMESTONE, MADISON, MORGAN, MARSHALL, JACKSON, DEKALB, CULLMAN TILL 5:00 AM CST.

PATCHY DENSE FOG HAS OR WILL DEVELOP ACROSS NORTH ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE. VISIBILITY WILL DROP TO 1/4 MILE OR LESS IN SOME AREAS. FOG COULD EXPAND IN COVERAGE OVERNIGHT, AND A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MAY BE NEEDED.

MOTORISTS ARE URGED TO DRIVE WITH EXTREME CAUTION, AS VISIBILITY WILL VARY SIGNIFICANTLY GIVEN THE PATCHY NATURE OF THE FOG. USE LOW BEAMS, REDUCE DRIVING SPEED AND ALLOW FOR PLENTY OF ROOM BETWEEN YOU AND OTHER CARS.
