At 242 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wilsonville, moving northeast at 50 mph.
Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Pell City, Chelsea, Wilsonville, Lincoln, Vincent, Harpersville,
Westover, Alpine Bay Resort, Logan Martin Lake, Coosa Island, Logan
Martin Dam, Country Club Estates, St. Clair County Airport, Sterrett,
Chula Vista, Camp Winnataska, Gaston Steam Plant and Cropwell.
