…Special Weather Statement for Reduced Visibilities…
Patchy fog, dense at times, has developed across portions of
Tennessee Valley. The fog was most widespread along the Cumberland
Plateau in Southern Middle Tennessee southwestward through Cullman
County.
Motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution, as visibilities
will vary significantly given the patchy nature of the fog. Use low
beams, reduce driving speed, and allow for plenty of room between
you and other cars.
Visibility trends will be monitored through the night and a Dense Fog
Advisory may be warranted.
