Tornado Warning Canceled, New Svr Tstm Warning
The NWS has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for eastern Marion and Winston Counties until 430 p.m.
No tornado reports from Marion County, and the rotation signatures are not impressive. But the storm is producing hail and deadly lightning.
It is over eastern Marion near Whitehouse and Thornhill is moving east or east southeast into Winston County. Will pass near Glen Mary or Natural Bridge.
A second severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for northern Lamar and southern Marion County southwest of the other warning. Severe storm passing between Guin and Hamilton. This cell is west of Stinson, moving east toward Stinson and Yampertown. It will be crossing Corridor X shortly.
Storms over eastern Mississippi continue to intensify and will pose a severe threat over the next couple of hours.
A tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m. for much of North Alabama. It does include Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Jefferson, Shelby, Talladega, Clay and Randolph Counties
