The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
    DeKalb County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 1230 PM CST.

* At 833 AM CST, automated rain gauges indicated that Big Wills
    Creek along Highway 35 in Fort Payne has now risen above flood stage. Although only occasional light to moderate rain showers are expected in the region this morning, Doppler radar estimates suggest that between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen in the basin over the last couple of days, with much of this precipitation being converted into runoff.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Fort Payne, Rainsville, Henagar, Crossville, Sylvania, Fyffe, Geraldine, Ider, Valley Head and Hammondville.
