Alabama Update at 7:45 p.m.

A tornado warning is in effect until 8 p.m. for folks in parts of Walker and Cullman Counties.

A storm capable of producing a tornado is near Sipsey. Strong rotation is indicated.

This storm will pass near The Colony, Dodge City, Garden City, Good Hope and possibly Cullman. It could produce a tornado at any time.

Rain and thunder extend from southern parts of the Birmingham Metro back to Greensboro and Livingston, but these are not severe.

A thin line of storms is over eastern Mississippi, from just east of Jackson to west of Starkville to Fulton and Red Bay in Alabama.

A tornado watch continues until 10 p.m. for a large part of West Central, North Central, and North Alabama. So far, no counties have been removed.
