     Flood waters have receded, and are no longer expected to pose a
     threat to life or property. Please continue to heed any road
     closures.


Areal Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Jackson, Madison, Franklin (TN), Lincoln (TN), And Moore (TN) Counties Until 6:30AM

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
    Jackson County in northeastern Alabama…
    Central Madison County in north central Alabama…
    Moore County in Middle Tennessee…
    Lincoln County in Middle Tennessee…
    Franklin County in Middle Tennessee…

* Until 630 AM CST Tuesday.

* At 630 PM CST, reports from emergency management and local law enforcement officials confirmed that numerous roads within the warning area remain closed due to flood waters. Automated river gauges also suggest that several area rivers, creeks and streams remain well above flood stage, and with waters expected to recede very slowly an Areal Flood Warning remains in effect for portions of northeast Alabama and southern middle Tennessee.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Huntsville, Scottsboro, Winchester, Fayetteville, Bridgeport, Moores Mill, Lynchburg, Meridianville, Hazel Green and Decherd.
