Greystone Damage

Thanks to Jake Godsey, the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Greystone Golf and Country Club – Legacy Course for these images. He writes…

“I am not sure either a micro burst or a small tornado associated with the two cells that came through Greystone earlier this afternoon. Holes number 4,5, and 6 where the only damaged areas in the entire neighborhood. Very small damage area, but very destructive in this area as you can see. Over 50 down or broken. One large oak tree was separated from its trunk by over 8 feet.”

We have to wonder if this caused that damage in Greystone; the shot below was taken at the Staples on U.S. 280 between Best Buy and Target, looking east:
