At 948 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Ross Bridge, or near Bessemer, moving northeast at 45 mph.
Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Southern Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Bessemer, Homewood,
Mountain Brook, Irondale, Leeds, Lipscomb, Shops of Grand River,
Barber Motorsports Park, Bluff Park, Samford University, Cahaba
Heights, Patton Creek, Alton, Hoover Metropolitan Stadium, Ross
Bridge, The Summit and Riverchase Galleria.
