Storms Moving Across Shelby, Bibb and Northern Chilton; Not Severe

| March 14, 2019 @ 11:48 pm

Storms are moving across southeastern Bibb, much of Shelby and northern Chilton Counties at this hour. They are not severe at this time but do have heavy rain and occasional lightning. They will be some gusty winds as well.

Other storms are in Perry County, northern St. Clair County, and around Heflin.

Dewpoints are still quite high across Central Alabama tonight. The dewpoint is still 66F at Birmingham and 68F at Calera. But it has fallen to 44F at Muscle Shoals! SO severe weather isn’t out of the question, but it is getting more and more unlikely.

The tornado watch will be allowed to expire at midnight.
