Wind Advisory For Parts Of North/Central Alabama

Wind Advisories have been issued for parts of North/Central Alabama for the possibility of wind gusts up to 35 MPH.

Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Additionally, entire trees with weak root systems may be blown down due to the moist nature of the topsoil across the area. High profile vehicles should exercise caution.

The Wind Advisory is in effect for Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan counties in North Alabama until 1:00 am CDT Friday.

The Wind Advisory is in effect for Blount, Cherokee, Etowah, Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Walker, and Winston counties in Central Alabama until 7:00 pm CDT tonight.
