The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for southwestern and west central Alabama.

     SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
     IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include… Demopolis, Chickasaw State Park and Old Spring Hill.

* At 1250 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Pennington, or 12 miles northeast of
    Butler, moving northeast at 45 mph.
    HAZARD…Tornado.
    SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
    IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
    Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
