SOUTHEASTERN SHELBY AND COOSA COUNTIES UNTIL 630 AM CDT…
At 550 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lay Lake to near Verbena. Movement was
northeast at 55 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Sylacauga, Goodwater, Rockford, Kellyton, Talladega Springs,
Stewartville, Weogufka, Dollar, Bradford, Strickland Crossroads,
Bentleyville, Hatchet, Highway 9 and Highway 22, Unity, Lay Lake,
Hanover, Lyle, Pentonville, Cottage Grove and Marble Valley.
