…A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 AM CDT FOR NORTHEASTERN BARBOUR AND SOUTHWESTERN RUSSELL COUNTIES… At 821 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Hurtsboro, moving northeast at 50 mph.

     HAZARD…Tornado.
     SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
     IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include… Hurtsboro, Hawkinsville, Spring Hill, Rutherford and Hatchechubbe.

* At 804 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Barbour County Public Lake Dam, or near Midway, moving northeast at 35 mph.
