The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flood Advisory for…
    Central Lowndes County in south central Alabama…
    Northwestern Montgomery County in south central Alabama…

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 607 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
    Up to two inches of rain with locally higher amounts have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Western Montgomery, Mosses, Hayneville, White Hall, Gordonville, Lowndesboro, Benton, Hunter, Dannelly Field, Maxwell Air Force
    Base, Manack, Collirene, Farmersville and Fostoria.
